Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

Tyler is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Tyler is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I have been under the weather and I needed to send an arrangement to my daughter for her 29th birthday. I called them and they chose a happy colorful arrangement for me and got it to her job well before she got off. Thank you French peas flower shop for always doing such an amazing job with my arrangement needs.

Beautiful little fliwer shop. Emlloyees were especially nice and I loved it's quaint feel. We needed a small gift at the tine and they had what we wanted perfectly. I would defibitely recommend this place!

I ordered an arrangement from French Peas Flowers and unfortunately what I received looked nothing like what was advertised online. I fully understand that seasonal flowers can vary, but this was not a subtle difference in availability. It was a noticeable downgrade in both fullness and color variation compared to the photo I ordered from. When I picked it up I stepped aside to double check the reference photo to make sure I wasnβt overreacting. I wasnβt. I went back inside and calmly explained that I wasnβt satisfied due to how different the arrangement looked. Before offering any solution I was told that the flowers included were βcomplimentary.β That stood out to me considering I had already paid $80 for the arrangement. One employee then offered to add a few flowers, which I appreciated, at no cost. However another employee returned with the arrangement and said that adding more would come at an additional cost. They left me feeling uncomfortable rather than reassured. For a premium price I expected clearer communication and a final product that at least resembled what was advertised. I donβt mind natural variation. I do mind paying for something that feels misrepresented.

I can't say enough about how beautiful this arrangement is. I've been blessed to receive a lot of flowers over the years and have spent thousands sending flowers to loved ones and business associates. Rarely does the actual arrangement exceed our expectations, but this one certainly did. My children live all over the South and they ordered these online for my birthday. They were blown away when I sent them photos. Kudos to the designer! I love them!

We ordered a monogrammed ribbon for Senior Prom several weeks ago. We showed pictures of what it should be, very large with initials and Senior Prom embroidered. We got a tiny ribbon that canβt even be seen with just my granddaughters initials, nothing else. The bouquet is 1/2 the size we asked for with only 1 of the flowers correct. We asked for white lilies, blush roses, blue flowers and a lot of greenery and fluff. We are so disappointed and will never do business with them again. The bouquet was taken back to add blue flowers but now itβs all off center and the majority of the flowers are turning brown. I picked it up an hour ago. Pictures will explain-the first 3 are what we asked for (and paid $100+). The last 2 are what we got.
